CITEC provides services to Queensland Government

The Rust Report
29 April 2005

The Rust Report outlines CITEC's selection as the supplier of infrastructure services to CorpTech, the Queensland Government's corporate IT systems provider.

The article says the three year utility computing deal is expected to generate more than $8 million a year for CITEC and will ensure CorpTech's peaks and troughs of demand are managed, while allowing the client to purchase additional services and assets if required.

CITEC's Managing Director, Tony Skippington says the model developed for CorpTech will be offered to other clients, as CITEC's capacity to aggregate demand makes the utility computing model economically and commercially viable.
