Purpose of position
The primary purpose of the role is to provide system & technical support to CITEC’s System Support business and undertake computer system administrative tasks with a high level of initiative and judgement.
Selection criteria

SC1
|
Technical experience and competency as outlined in Schedule 1.
|
|
SC2
|
Demonstrated skills in problem resolution and the ability to analyse the requirements of architecture solutions and to assist in making recommendations to peers.
|
|
SC3
|
Demonstrated ability to contribute effectively as a team member delivering quality service to clients in accordance with agreed service levels.
|
|
SC4
|
Well developed interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills including the ability to liaise with clients, under supervision of senior team members, and CITEC staff at management and operational levels.
|
Additional factors
- This position may be required to undertake intrastate and interstate travel as necessary.
- The successful applicant will be required to undergo, and must satisfy, relevant security and employment checks. Additionally, employees may be required to work in areas that are under video surveillance.
- CITEC operates a 24/7 environment and employees may be required to work under shift or on-call arrangements.
- CITEC is a Quality Accredited organisation and all employees are expected to actively adhere to and contribute to all Quality accreditations.
- A non-smoking policy is effective in Queensland Government buildings, offices and motor vehicles.
