Purpose of position

The primary purpose of the role is to provide high level specialist technical SAP Basis Administration support and advice. 

The role will also include activities associated with consultancy/project management.  Individual roles will be based on business and client requirements and the incumbents’ personal development program.

 

Selection criteria

SC1

High level experience and competency as outlined in Schedule 1, including project management, consultancy or line management.

SC2

Demonstrated ability in complex problem resolution, including the ability to critically analyse requirements of the SAP R/3 architecture and to make appropriate recommendations.

SC3

Highly effective interpersonal, communication, negotiation and consulting skills.

Additional factors

  • This position may be required to undertake intrastate and interstate travel as necessary.
  • The successful applicant will be required to undergo, and must satisfy, relevant security and employment checks.  Additionally, employees may be required to work in areas that are under video surveillance.
  • CITEC operates a 24/7 environment and employees may be required to work under shift or on-call arrangements.

  • A non-smoking policy is effective in Queensland Government buildings, offices and motor vehicles.
