CITEC's business continuity program aims to minimise the impact of a disaster on our critical systems and processes, and on the support functions required to sustain these systems, in turn helping us to provide reliable services to our clients.
Our critical systems are fully resilient and redundant, with dual feeds in place for key infrastructure components including water, electricity and data communications. We have also established an alternate data centre to run corporate applications in the event of a disaster.
Alternate systems undergo live parallel tests to ensure response times and capacity requirements can be met in disaster situations.
CITEC also conducts annual scenario testing and staff training to achieve continuous improvement of its business continuity management process.
This comprehensive program ensures CITEC continues to comply with requirements set down by the Australian Prudential Regulatory Authority, Government Agency Preparedness (GAP) and the Queensland Government’s Information Security Standard 18.
